Advanced Laser Treatments for Melasma, Rejuvenation & Redness

Melasma & Hyperpigmentation

NeoSkin by Aerolase® offers a safe and effective solution for melasma and hyperpigmentation, suitable for all skin tones. Melasma is a complex condition involving excess pigment, inflammation, and vascular activity. NeoSkin’s advanced 650-microsecond laser energy targets all three—breaking down pigment, calming inflammation, and reducing vascular triggers.

For those seeking accelerated results, NeoSkin can be paired with a chemical peel in the same session. The laser targets deeper pigmentation while the peel boosts cellular turnover for faster surface clearing.

Typical treatment time: 15–20 minutes, depending on the area and severity of pigmentation.

Skin Rejuvenation & Tightening

Restore a smoother, more youthful look with NeoSkin for rejuvenation and tightening. This all-in-one solution targets:

  • Fine lines and enlarged pores
  • Uneven texture or skin tone
  • Laxity, dullness, and visible veins
  • Pigmentation and sun damage

NeoSkin’s laser energy stimulates collagen by heating water deep in the dermis. It also targets melanin and hemoglobin to clear pigment and redness—creating a brighter, firmer complexion.

Typical treatment time: 20–60 minutes, depending on the treatment area (face, neck, chest) and individual skin concerns.

Rosacea, Redness & Veins

NeoSkin is highly effective for treating rosacea, facial redness, and broken capillaries. This non-invasive laser therapy targets inflammation and unwanted blood vessels beneath the skin’s surface to reduce:

  • Facial flushing
  • Spider veins and broken capillaries
  • Chronic redness, including from rosacea and poikiloderma of civatte

Laser energy gently penetrates the skin to coagulate visible veins and calm inflammation, helping reduce redness over time without the need for medications or cover-up products.

Typical treatment time: 20–25 minutes, depending on the severity and size of the affected area.

Treatment Experience & Comfort

All NeoSkin treatments are designed with comfort and convenience in mind:

  • No anesthetic or numbing required
  • No skin cooling necessary
  • No physical contact with the skin
  • Safe and effective for all skin types and tones, including melanin-rich skin

Advanced Acne Treatment for All Skin Types

NeoClear by Aerolase is a cutting-edge acne treatment that’s safe, effective, and comfortable for all skin types and ages. Using advanced 650-microsecond laser technology, NeoClear targets the root causes of acne—including excess oil (sebum), inflammation, and P. acnes bacteria—all with one powerful device.

Why Choose NeoClear?

Most acne solutions require a mix of topical treatments, medications, or skincare routines. NeoClear simplifies this by addressing all major acne triggers in a single, non-invasive treatment.

With its unique pulse technology, NeoClear:

  • Reduces sebum production
  • Calms inflammation
  • Destroys acne-causing bacteria
  • Stimulates collagen to improve acne scars and enhance skin clarity

The result? Clearer, smoother skin—often visible after just one session.

Comfortable, Drug-Free, and Fast

NeoClear is an ideal option for anyone looking to avoid prescription medications or who hasn’t found success with traditional treatments. It’s also a cost-effective solution compared to ongoing skincare or prescription regimens.

  • No side effects
  • No skin cooling or numbing required
  • No direct contact with the skin

Sessions typically take 10 to 30 minutes, depending on acne severity and treatment area (face, neck, chest, or back).

Safe for All Skin Tones, All Acne Types

NeoClear is designed to be gentle yet powerful, making it highly effective for all skin tones—including melanin-rich skin—and all forms of acne.

Hair Removal

The Aerolase Neo Elite offers a uniquely gentle and effective solution for laser hair removal, suitable for all skin types and tones—including deeper skin tones that are often more difficult to treat with traditional lasers.

This advanced treatment delivers laser energy to target and destroy the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin, making it a comfortable and reliable alternative to shaving, waxing, or older laser systems. The result is smooth, hair-free skin with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Many individuals who have tried other hair removal lasers find the Neo Elite experience far more comfortable and tolerable.

Treatment Process

Because hair grows in cycles, laser hair removal is most effective during the active growth phase. To fully target all follicles, treatments are typically scheduled every 3 to 4 weeks as part of a series.

Treatment time varies based on the size of the area being treated—from just a few minutes for small areas like the upper lip or underarms, to longer sessions for larger zones such as the legs, back, or chest.

Neo Psoriasis

Aerolase 650 Microsecond Technology™ offers a safe, effective , and drug-free approach to managing psoriasis across all skin types and ages. By delivering deep-penetrating energy into the skin, it helps suppress inflammation and coagulate the hypervascular structures that contribute to plaque buildup—without the need for topical steroids or systemic medications.

By addressing these root causes, the Neo Elite helps clear plaques while avoiding the side effects commonly associated with traditional therapies. Compared to other light-based treatments, it also offers faster sessions and quicker visible improvement, all in a tolerable, non-invasive experience. This unique laser technology allows for a highly tolerable treatment experience with no downtime or harsh side effects.

Key Benefits

Reduces Inflammation: Deep energy penetrates to calm psoriasis-related inflammation.
No Side Effects: A steroid- and medication-free solution.
Faster Treatment & Clearance: More efficient than most light-based therapies.

Nail Fungus

Onychomycosis, commonly known as nail fungus, is a fungal infection of the toenails that causes the nail to become discolored, thickened, and brittle. In addition to its appearance, it can also lead to discomfort or pain, especially while walking or wearing shoes.

Laser therapy has become one of the safest and most effective options for treating nail fungus. The Aerolase Neo Elite delivers targeted energy that penetrates the nail to heat and destroy the fungal infection at its source—deep in the nail bed. Most individuals see results with just one or two sessions, making it a faster and more convenient option compared to oral medications or topical treatments, which often come with side effects or limited efficacy.

Following treatment, there’s no downtime, and normal daily activities can be resumed immediately.

What to Expect

It’s important to note that visible results take time. The infected portion of the nail needs to grow out fully, which may take 3 to 12 months depending on your nail growth cycle.

To help prevent reinfection, the following aftercare steps are recommended:

  1. Apply an antifungal cream for the first 2 weeks post-treatment.
  2. Spray the inside of shoes daily with an antifungal spray; avoid wearing the same pair for two days in a row, or use a UV shoe sanitizer.
  3. After the initial two weeks, continue applying antifungal spray to the feet or fingers regularly.
  4. Change your bed sheets the night after each treatment.
  5. Clean the shower floor with a bleach-based cleanser before next use.
  6. Disinfect all nail tools with bleach before reuse.
  7. Discard any nail polish that was used on infected nails.
  8. Be cautious in communal spaces such as hotel rooms, locker rooms, and public showers.

Pseudofolliculitis Barbae (PFB)—commonly referred to as razor bumps, ingrown hairs, or beard bumps—is a frustrating skin condition frequently caused by shaving. It tends to occur more often in individuals with darker skin tones, including tanned skin and Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI.

The Aerolase Neo Elite laser effectively treats PFB by targeting melanin within both the hair and hair follicle, as well as addressing hyperpigmentation that often forms around inflamed areas. Unlike traditional lasers, the Neo Elite uses an advanced 650-microsecond pulse duration, which is significantly shorter than those typically used in standard hair removal systems. This ultra-fast energy delivery allows the laser to pass through the skin quickly, minimizing heat buildup in the epidermis while still delivering the power needed to treat the condition safely and effectively.

Aerolase FAQ

How many sessions will I need?

Depends on the condition being treated, as well as the size, depth, and skin response:

  • Pigmented spots (sun/age spots, freckles): Typically 1–2 treatments
  • Psoriasis: Some improvement may be seen after one session, but ongoing treatments are usually needed
  • Vascular lesions (angiomas, spider veins): Usually 1–2 sessions, though more may be needed depending on vessel size and location
Are there any contraindications for treatment?

Yes. Laser treatment should be avoided if:

  • The skin is sunburned, irritated, or healing poorly from previous procedures
  • There are unidentified skin conditions at the treatment site
  • You’re prone to hyperpigmentation or hypo-pigmentation
  • You’re taking photosensitizing medications (e.g., Accutane – discontinue 6 months prior)
  • You’re using topical Retin-A (stop 2 weeks before treatment)
  • You have untreated raised pigmented lesions (consult a dermatologist first)

Additional precautions:

Wait until any sunburn has fully healed before scheduling treatment.
Avoid treatment if you have an active cold sore. Preventive antiviral medication may be recommended for those prone to fever blisters, especially around the lips.

Is the treatment painful?

Most clients describe the sensation as mild heat or a brief pinch, especially at higher settings. Thanks to Aerolase’s 650 Microsecond and Micropulse-1064 Technology, Neo Elite treatments are virtually pain-free, even on darker skin types. No numbing creams, gels, or skin-cooling sprays are required.

What happens after treatment?
  • Pigmented spots: Typically darken, form a scab, and naturally slough off within 3–4 weeks
  • Psoriasis: Redness may linger for several weeks; plaque thickness generally reduces within 6 weeks. Maintenance sessions may be needed for flare-ups.
  • Vascular lesions: Some may temporarily darken. Rust-colored staining (hemosiderin) may appear but usually fades in 3–4 weeks.

Post-treatment tip: Keep the treated area moisturized to minimize scabbing and reduce the risk of scarring.

Is the treatment permanent?
  • Pigmented spots and vascular lesions can be permanently removed, but new ones may form with continued sun exposure or aging.
  • Psoriasis and Rosacea are chronic conditions. While treatment can reduce symptoms and flare-ups, it is not a cure. Ongoing sessions may be needed to manage recurrences.
