A quiet peace falls over quaint Bowen Island during the cold winter months but pockets of revelry remain to be found for those who know where to look.
For those strolling through Snug Cove a certain evening in November, past the twinkling storefronts and into the Copper Spirit Distillery, one might have thought they’d walked into the heart of cosmopolitan downtown Vancouver, but the convivial and familiar atmosphere was unmistakably Bowen. A humble event, but one that marks the start of a new era in Bowen Island living.

Quality and intentionality underpinned every detail of the evening: handcrafted mini-cocktails from spirits brewed on-site and blended with local organic and wild botanicals, served alongside an array of organic and plant-based bites and spreads from Alderwood Farm.
Cause for Celebration
November 2025 marks the 1 year anniversary of ARTEBELLA Skin Health welcoming wellness and skin health enthusiasts to her flagship studio space in Artisan Square. 1 year of connection, of first “Hello”s, of continued education, of healing hands and deeply restorative care.
It also marks another key milestone in Island skin health: the introduction of medical and aesthetic laser services. Now offered in partnership with none other than Aerolase, pioneers in a new era of skin wellness.
What an incredible pleasure to spend this Saturday evening with a group of brilliant women, learning about what the ARTEBELLA medispa has brought to Bowen Island!

Introducing the Neo Elite
Joining us as an expert guest speaker, Aerolase Representative Nathan Holz stole the show, dazzling all with gallant charisma and a steady hand while demonstrating the Neo‘s capacities. Once in the afternoon, then again in the evening, Nathan presented a more in-depth take on the clinical applications of the Neo Elite laser. Ranging from infantile hemangiomas/birthmarks, hair removal, nail fungus and psoriasis, through to acne, full-body rejuvenation, and intimate wellness (this last one was a surprise to some, but no skin health topic is taboo for our skin health professionals)!
Following the presentations and Q&A sessions, every attending guest was invited to experience the laser for themselves. It’s one thing to advertise a laser as pain-free and without downtime, but we know not just seeing but feeling is believing.
This provided the opportunity for our attending guests to experience the laser treatments firsthand and ask Nathan questions personally & receive personal recommendations.

The Spirit of Giving
Kicking off the season of generosity, the evening featured many moments of giving spirit…
Four lucky attendees received ARTEBELLA raffle prizes featuring different kinds of Aerolase treatments and fan favourite skincare products. ARTEBELLA’s total raffle prizes given at this event totaled over $2,000 value!
Not only those attending the event were able to benefit from the evening’s spirit of generosity. Voluntary donations were collected throughout the proceedings to support the Rotary Club of Bowen Island, raising funds for community service projects in the arts, sustainability, and community programming. We want to extend a big personal thank you to the charitable donors who contributed in this initiative!
With the holidays just around the corner, the ARTEBELLA team carefully curated a selection of featured Holiday Kits and seasonal offerings in a market-style display to inspire customized and sought-after gifts.
The Spirit of Giving also means no one leaves empty-handed… Each guest received a goody-bag filled with a full sample-size routine and ARTEBELLA accessories.
The Spirit of Connection
Perhaps the most inspiring part of the evening was seeing people connecting in such profound ways. Friends, acquaintances, and strangers meeting for the first time and connecting over shared values of quality care and grounded wellness.
