Botox

Botox is a cosmetic treatment for reducing wrinkles by cosmetic denervation (relaxing the muscle). Fine lines caused by facial expressions like frowning or squinting become deeper and more permanent as we age. Cosmetic denervation is done with a Botox injection to soften these lines. It will take effect in 3-7 days with the maximum results achieved after 10-14 days. Very gradually it will wear off after 3-4 months and the wrinkles will re-appear. Successive treatments every 3-4 months can maintain the desired results.

Xeomin/Botox is a safe substance. The most common side effect of treatment is temporary redness or bruising which can be covered by make-up.
